Material Handler 3 (2nd Shift)
Location: Mesa, AZ 85212
Assignment Duration: 6 Months
Shift: 2A (05:00 PM - 05:30 AM) Sunday to Wednesday
Pay Rate: $23/hour + $1 shift differential
 
Interview process: 1 round of Teams interview with hiring manager.
Note: Manager is only able to interview candidates Mon-Wed as they are out for the latter part of the week.
 
Position Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for executing a wide range of material movement activities, including receiving, put away, picking, staging, and shipping. In this role, you will process inbound and outbound materials both on the dock and within warehouse storage locations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and workflow continuity. The position requires strict adherence to safety protocols, proficient operation of material handling equipment, and consistent maintenance of accurate inventory records.
 
Where you come in:

• You will serve as a key liaison across cross functional teams and shifts, ensuring timely communication, updates, and alignment on priorities.
• You will manage issue resolution and exception handling to minimize operational delays and maintain workflow continuity.
• You will coordinate shipment planning, truck scheduling, and material flow to support efficient and on time warehouse operations.
• You will perform administrative tasks related to documentation, reporting, and compliance, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness.
• You will support the release and allocation of outbound orders within the WMS to ensure orders are processed efficiently and correctly.
• You will communicate effectively, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
• You will perform other duties assigned to support overall operational success.

 
What makes you successful:

• You have experience in a material handling role, including operating electric powered material handling equipment with experience working in a cGMP regulated environment.
• You have interest in PTL, Oracle ERP, HighJump WMS, or 3+ years using similar PTL/ERP/WMS systems to complete transactions.
• You have basic computer and data entry skills, along with a foundational understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
• You have strong written and verbal English communication skills, as well as solid mathematical and problem solving abilities.
• You have the ability to obtain and maintain a forklift certification as required.

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Typically requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience and High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.
