Job Overview: 
The Associate Marketing Specialist, Brand Partnerships will provide executional support for active brand partnership programs across the Brand Partnerships portfolio. This role is responsible for coordinating materials, timelines, deliverables, meeting preparation, documentation, and follow-ups to help ensure partnership activations are organized, timely, and aligned to approved plans. 
Working in close partnership with Program Management and Activation Management, this position supports efficient execution across assigned workstreams and enables senior Brand Partnerships team members to remain focused on strategic planning, stakeholder management, and program leadership. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organization, attention to detail, sound judgment, collaborative communication, and responsible use of AI-enabled productivity tools to improve drafting, summarization, information management, and workflow efficiency. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Coordinate day-to-day executional support for assigned Brand Partnerships properties, which may include Manchester United, NASCAR, Padres, and other partner programs. 
  • Prepare and maintain marketing materials, presentations, briefs, meeting notes, follow-up documents, and other working materials in support of active partnership programs. 
  • Track timelines, deliverables, partner requests, open items, and execution milestones to support on-time delivery and alignment with approved plans. 
  • Support meeting preparation and follow-through by developing agendas or materials, capturing clear notes, documenting decisions, and coordinating next steps with internal stakeholders, agencies, and partners. 
  • Organize creative assets and support routing, review, and approval coordination across social, digital, public relations, video, experiential, and related workstreams. 
  • Maintain Brand Partnerships Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint channels, shared folders, trackers, and working documents to promote visibility, consistency, and collaboration across active programs. 
  • Provide foundational project management support, including tracker updates, status documentation, creative routing, agency coordination, and escalation of risks or open items as directed by senior Brand Partnerships team members. 
 
Minimum Qualifications: 
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple activation workstreams, timelines, and deliverables with accuracy and consistency. 
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams, agencies, and external partners. 
  • Ability to take direction, manage assigned tasks independently, follow through reliably, and escalate risks or open items in a timely and appropriate manner. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint, including experience maintaining trackers, status documents, presentations, and shared working materials. 
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools and sound judgment in applying them responsibly to drafting, summarization, information organization, and workflow efficiency. 
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies, and external partners. 
 
Preferred Qualifications:? 
  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, sponsorship, sports marketing, event activation, agency coordination, or a related field preferred; relevant internship experience may be considered. 
  • Exposure to creative routing, asset management, project management tools, digital or social content workflows, reporting, or partner-facing marketing environments preferred. 
  • Demonstrated interest in brand partnerships, sponsorship marketing, sports marketing, entertainment marketing, event activation, or integrated marketing execution. 
 
Education Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Sports Management, Public Relations, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
