Job Title: Market Researcher Duration: 12 Months (Possibility of Extn.) Location: Cupertino, CA (Hybrid - Tues-Thurs onsite)
Worldwide Product Marketing team is looking for a Market Research professional to support its customer insights needs for the App Store and Developer Relations.
We’re looking for a practitioner who deeply understands innovative and state of the art research methodologies, is an expert in analytics and has extensive experience with translating data into insights and linking it to business issues.

Responsibilities
Partner with clients in the App Store / Developer relations organizations to identify business issues to be addressed, and synthesize from disparate sources to provide a comprehensive view of the consumer and marketplace
Drive the research end-to-end: from developing learning plans, managing research vendors, questionnaire design, programming surveys, analysis, statistical testing to synthesizing findings and delivering presentations
Bring sophisticated analytical expertise and innovation to research projects, including recommending alternative approaches where appropriate
Key Qualifications
5+ years of demonstrated success in customer insights / market research in a consumer technology / consumer media company or market research firm preferably in a global role
Highly analytical, intellectually curious with proven track record in quantitative and qualitative survey analysis
Able to communicate research clearly and concisely across audiences and partners, with the ability to explain analytical outcomes in business terms.
Experience in using survey tools (such as Qualtrics and Decipher) to program and manage survey projects
Expertise with application of a broad range of research techniques and methodologies: e.g. cross-tabulations, maxDiff, segmentation and cluster analysis, conjoint / discrete choice, predictive analytics, etc.
Experience working on research projects focused on developer audiences is a plus
Familiarity with Python Pandas / R / SPSS / Stata / SAS, as well as Excel, Keynote and Jupyter Notebook a plus
Education
We value a strong record of academic achievement. Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in business, management, statistics, economics, market research or human behavior is preferred.
