Job Description

Job Title: Manufacturing Process Technician
Duration: 1 year
Location: New Albany, Ohio

Shift Hours:
(1st shift is 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 2nd shift is 2:30 PM -11:00 PM, 3rd Night shift 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
 
Note:
****This is a 100% onsite role in clients New Albany OH (USOH) Location. The job will be shift based and EW's will be working on the floor in the packaging environment the whole time. This is a standing job with no opportunity for sitting while working. No relocation, looking for local candidates only****
No prior experience in manufacturing needed, but is ideal to have. All candidates must have location on resume and meet the BQs.
3 people needed only wants to see people who can work any shift
*The shift will start off M-F 8 hours then move to first second or third depending on candidate availability to take on the following shifts:
1 x headcount for 2nd shift role to transition to 12hr PM
1 x headcount for 3rd shift role to transition to 12hr AM
1 x headcount for 3rd shift role to transition to 12hr PM

 
Job Details:
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and applicable regulations from the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs).
• Reporting any discrepancies to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor to ensure quality standards and safety.
• Ensuring quality & compliance through a Right First-Time mentality.
• Receiving and preparing components for use in manufacturing.
• Feeding components into equipment and performing sanitation activities.
• Documenting appropriate paperwork, understanding Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)/performance metrics, and participating in daily performance meetings.
• Use of pallet jacks and manual wrapping of pallets.
• Use of computer systems to support material inventory and electronic batch record.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to drive improvement opportunities.
• Ensuring components and products are available for continuous operation.

Basic Qualifications:
• Associate degree OR High school diploma / GED and 1 year of Manufacturing or Operations experience
 
Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ plus years of experience in a GMP/ other regulated environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GMP principles.
• Drug substance manufacturing experience.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to assemble, disassemble, operate and understand simple to moderately complex equipment per procedures.
• Basic understanding of measurements, calculations and the metric system.
• Ability to work optimally in an individual and team setting.
• Ability to document process tasks in electronic batch records.
• Coachable, ability to take coaching/critique and show learned/measurable improvement.
• Capacity to follow written procedures, recognize and report malfunctions.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to perform assignments with a high degree of focus/attention to detail.
