Job Description

Location: Hatillo, PR

Scope of Job:
As an experienced Maintenance Supervisor, you will directly oversee the Maintenance Department, collaborating closely with Production Supervisors. Your primary focus will be on enhancing safety, quality, and operational efficiency, aligning with strategic goals.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and evaluate maintenance hourly employees.
  • Conduct orientation and on-the-job training for safe and efficient equipment operation.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate department activities.
  • Facilitate communication with other supervisors regarding maintenance, quality issues, priorities, and planning.
  • Provide coaching and development to employees.
  • Resolve employee issues and conflicts, participating in the disciplinary process.
  • Ensure compliance with methods, quality standards, safety regulations, and equipment efficiency.
  • Conduct regular overview meetings with all employees.
  • Implement and coordinate department safety processes and training.
 
Qualifications:
  • Two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Experience in preventive maintenance coordination.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends.
  
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
