The Maintenance Worker will perform infrastructure maintenance activities throughout the (3) facilities on Kauai island with an emphasis on safety and quality. These activities may include but are not limited to servicing/troubleshooting processing equipment, setup/breakdown of break tents in the fields, cleaning, powerwashing, and building repairs. The worker will also contribute to improvement projects and provide feedback to supervisors on specific problems/characteristics encountered on the job site. ****Agency shall enroll worker in a Hearing Conservation Program****RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform all tasks safely and follow instructions. Attend work regularly and reliably; work overtime as scheduled or directedPerform all tasks associated with infrastructure maintenance. These activities include, but are not limited to, plumbing repairs, changing light bulbs, painting, and wall mount installations. Perform maintenance / service on processing equipment such as dryers, shellers, and processing lines. May Operate / Drive forklift & company trucks.Maintain a clean and organized work areaCommunicate regularly and openly with the team and supervisors regarding issues that may affect safety or quality. Participate in work related training programs and continuous improvement initiatives and adhere to Company Core Values.Support other Areas / Activities as needed.
