Title: Machine Operator I Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm Location: Londonderry, NH, 03053 DURATION: Initially three months, with the potential for converting to a FTE based on business need, budget approval and performance. Required education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Duties and Responsibilities:-
Monitor functions of equipment and operate per documented procedures including maintaining operational logbooks-
Provide technicians with symptoms of equipment failures, when required
Support material handling as necessary
Maintain segregation of materials and lot and or receiving numbers
Maintain area in a clean and orderly condition
Adhere to and demonstrate compliance to all company and department standard operating procedures including but not limited to: GMP, device history record, hazard communication and safety rules
Utilize written procedures and training to accomplish tasks noted above
Accept full accountability for product quality
Report to supervisor or management unsolved problems encountered during the workday
Maintain complete and accurate records of work-in-process, component inventories and relative documentation
Under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Machine Operator will ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing equipment according to established specifications, and standard operating procedures and work instructions.
An operator must demonstrate steady progress in learning all equipment and jobs in the assigned manufacturing area.
He and or she must also exhibit the ability to follow instructions of supervisor while observing the quality of raw and finished goods before, during and after production.
OTHER INFORMATION:- Candidate must be able to stand to package and label product. Ensure the smooth operation of the production line. Candidate will not be responsible to run or operate the production line. Support material handling as necessary. Does not required use of forklift or power jack. Lifting/moving and carrying products weighing up to 20 pounds Candidate supporting a closed production line. No physical contact with hazardous materials or chemicals.- Safety glasses, hair nets and gloves provided. Candidate must provide steel or composite shoes/boots. Must be able to adhere to shift start times and with excellent attendance and punctuality. Prior manufacturing experience not required. Training will be provided.
