Description Operations Specialist Drone Delivery Support About the Team DoorDash Labs is a specialized team focused on robotics and automation that push the future of lastmile logistics. Were bringing autonomous drone delivery to life, and we need reliable, detailoriented people to keep daily operations running safely and smoothly. About the Role This role supports our onsite drone delivery operations. You will not be flying drones. Instead, youll handle ground tasks that make each delivery possiblepicking up prepared food orders from local merchants, transporting them to the drone site, loading drones, and ensuring each handoff is accurate and safe. This job requires your own reliable vehicle to pick up food orders from restaurants and bring them to the drone launch site. What Youll Do Create an Impact Pick up food orders from assigned merchants and transport them to the drone site using your personal vehicle. Carefully prepare and load orders into drones, ensuring accuracy, quality, and safety. Support smooth daytoday operations in a fastmoving test environment. Identify issues, share observations, and provide clear feedback that helps improve processes and technology. Operational Excellence Follow all safety protocols and site procedures with precision. Maintain an organized, efficient workflow that keeps the operation on schedule. Stay flexible and proactive as processes evolve. Team Collaboration Work closely with a small, missiondriven team that values trust, accountability, and consistency. Help reinforce a strong operational culture through communication, reliability, and handson teamwork. Communication Serve as the eyes and ears on the groundreporting observations to engineers, operators, and crossfunctional partners. Represent DoorDash positively when interacting with merchants and community members. What You Bring A reliable personal vehicle and a valid drivers license. Comfort working outdoors and on your feet.
