Job Description

Title - Laboratory Coordinator
Location - Irvine, CA (92606)
Duration - 06 months

Summary:
Support laboratory operations.

Responsibilities:
• Perform media preparation, accurately measuring and dispensing, in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information
• Perform basic laboratory support functions such as laboratory inventory management, arranging for calibration and maintenance of equipment, lab housekeeping, and receiving of production samples and laboratory supplies
• Communicate and coordinate activities with vendors
• Assist in preparing test supplies
• Clean and prepare lab glassware and supplies
• Operate and clean supporting equipment (e.g autoclaves, dishwashers, etc)
• Assist in maintaining laboratory paperwork
• Other incidental duties

Additional Skills:
• Good computer skills with proven ability to use computer-based programs
• Ability to read, comprehend, speak, and write English
• Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills
• Basic knowledge of laboratory processes
• Basic knowledge in mathematics, e.g., decimals and percentage
• Knowledge of and adherence to Clients Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines as they relate to department clean room medical device manufacturing
• Strict attention to detail
• Ability to work with own team environment.

Education and Experience:
• H.S. Diploma or equivalent required
• Other: Experience in Laboratory Preferred
