Job Description

Title: Lab Technician
Location: Milpitas, CA 95035
Duration: 6 Months

 
Summary:
  • Able to perform mechanical assembly on a fast-paced line with some degree of manual dexterity
  • Able to operate small scale machinery and equipment (basic computer navigation and typing skills included)
  • Ensure equipment and shop area is maintained through 5S
  • Able to wear required PPE at all times to uphold all Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) requirements
  • Able to follow work instructions to ensure specifications and procedures are met
  • Ensure documentation of all work performed to provide traceability
  • Support production with needs such as - kanban setup, filling direct and indirect materials, floor and station marking, maintaining point of use, and perform cycle counts
 
Basic Qualifications:
  • Basic level of dexterity to handle small parts
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Willing to work all shifts, overtime and weekends as needed. Estimated shift times first shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Shift may vary and change depending on program needs
  • Standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time to perform the job at hand
  • Willing to engage in lean/R&D activities to improve the process
  • 1+ years of operations/manufacturing experience
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent certificate
