Job Title: Lab technician I Location: Chicago, IL 60638 Duration: 6 Months (Possibility of extension depending upon business requirements and performance) Shift 3rd: 10 PM – 6:30 AM, Mon–Fri
Note:
The client asks that the candidate remain flexible regarding alternate schedules if required.
Initial training will take place during the day from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Job Responsibilities:
Use established methods to verify the quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing products.
Prepares laboratory reagents; files retain samples in appropriate holding areas; enters test data into our SAP or LIMS systems; files vendor certifications and raw materials and production inspections in the appropriate area.
Participates in general housekeeping, including routine cleaning and maintenance, and performs other duties requested by management.

Education Preferred:
The successful candidate will possess a 4-year degree in a science field; Chemistry is preferred, but Biology, Physics, etc., will also be considered.
