Job Title: Lab Tech III - LIMS Systems Analyst- 100% Remote Length of Contract – 10 months (Possible extension)
This position is fully remote. Normal business hours – CST working hours
Responsibilities:
Supports global laboratories with ongoing projects related to Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), in particular Thermo SampleManager.
Interprets laboratory test methods for the calculations and formulas needed to generate results.
Compiles custom calculation fields in LIMS (SampleManager) which are needed to calculate laboratory results in the system.
Chromatographic Data Systems (CDS, such as Empower) are a secondary goal for this resource.
Draft documents which will serve as guidelines for the laboratory to use calculations and report results.
Follows calculation validation processes related to laboratory quality applications.
Reports to the Quality Systems support team.
What we are looking for:
Laboratory analyst with chromatography experience, preferably in SampleManager LIMS.
Lab administration, supporting quality systems used by the laboratory.
Understanding of CDS, such as Empower or Chromeleon.
Scientific background with experience in the following analytical test methods.
Multi-site or multi-stakeholder project work supporting laboratory quality systems
