Junior Project Manager Role Overview We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to support the delivery of Cyber Security and AI-related initiatives within a fast-paced, federally regulated environment. This individual will work closely with senior project managers, business stakeholders, and technology teams to help coordinate smaller projects and workstreams, maintain project documentation, and ensure timely follow-ups on key deliverables and action items. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within project delivery. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to adapt to changing priorities, and comfort working within complex enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Delivery Support
Support the delivery of Cyber Security and AI-related initiatives.
Coordinate smaller projects or assigned workstreams under the guidance of senior project leadership.
Track project milestones, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
Assist with project planning, scheduling, and status reporting activities.
Help maintain project documentation, including meeting notes, action logs, RAID logs, and status updates.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and communications across Business and Technology teams.
Document project discussions, decisions, risks, and action items.
Support stakeholder updates and help ensure expectations are clearly communicated.
Assist in escalating blockers or concerns to project leadership when required.
Risk & Issue Management
Help identify and track project risks, issues, and dependencies.
Maintain risk and issue logs and follow up on mitigation activities.
Ensure action items are assigned, tracked, and completed on time.
Financial & Administrative Support
Assist with budget tracking, resource coordination, and invoice management activities.
Support scope and change tracking processes.
Ensure project reporting and documentation remain accurate and current.
Required Qualifications
Experience supporting project delivery initiatives within Technology, Cyber Security, or AI-related environments.
Exposure to federally regulated industries, preferably within financial services.
Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at varying levels.
Technical Knowledge
Basic understanding of System Architecture concepts.
Familiarity with SDLC and project delivery methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
Exposure to system integrations and enterprise technology environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience supporting project managers or PMO teams.
Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or similar platforms.
PMP, CAPM, Scrum, or related certifications are considered an asset.
