Job Description

The Jr Recruiter is responsible for assisting and providing support to the Recruitment Department on all tasks related to sourcing, interviewing, and submitting profiles. This role will work closely with recruiters to meet daily call and submission targets for open positions.
 

A Glimpse Into Your Day:
Management/ Performance

  • Supervise the recruitment team’s daily activities and distribute tasks among fellow recruiters.
  • Review all VMS tools to ensure accuracy.
  • Closely collaborate with the CS team to qualify job requisitions, ensuring alignment with client needs.
  • Serve as a reliable resource for the recruitment team, addressing queries and providing guidance to facilitate an accurate recruitment process.
  • Provide training and mentorship to new recruiters, ensuring a thorough understanding and adherence to our recruitment processes.
  • Conduct spot checks on the quality of resume submittals by recruiters in VMS tools, Leoforce, and all other documentation.
Sourcing and Recruitment:
  • Sourcing of candidates for assigned requisitions, to ensure supply meets customer demand.
  • Actively seeks new and effective techniques to source/recruit and maintain qualified candidates.
  • Conducts interviews, interview debriefs and skill testing with viable candidates.
  • Maintains continual contact with candidates to ensure availability to our clients.
  • Performs and abides by all standard procedures for recruiting, screening and placement of candidates.
Process Maintenance and Improvement:
  • Maintains reports on open requisitions and interview logs.
  • Maintains detailed activity information in Leoforce.
  • Fully understands the requisition requirements of assigned business units.
  • Monitors VMS tools to ensure timely submittal of candidates on requisitions assigned.
  • Effectively utilizes job boards.
  • Creates request for offer proposal (RFOP) within 2 hours of receiving the offer email.
  • Constantly taking initiatives to improve processes.
  • Self-starting and resourceful; turns problems into opportunities.
  • Seeks new assignments and additional duties from the Recruitment Supervisor and/or Client Service Team.
  • Demonstrates an interest in the temporary staffing industry and the overall strategy and objectives of the company.
Communication:
  • Provides exceptional customer service to each new applicant with their employment process, answers question and qualifies potential assignment candidates for eligibility to work.
  • Provides detailed interview Prep - Preparing candidates for client interviews.
  • Ensures written and verbal information is shared in a clear, concise manner with candidate, co-workers and up-line leaders.
  • Demonstrates active listening skills.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum one (1) year of professional experience
  • Skill in management, data analysis, attention to detail and able to work multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages
  • Works independently and has strong time management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Experience in staffing or working in a recruitment role (preferred)
