The Project Manager will play a critical role in leading technology projects focused on finance transformation. This individual will be responsible for managing projects related to data and analytics, including Data Warehouse, Data Hub, Data Governance, Analytics, and Predictive Analytics. Familiarity with Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) is advantageous. The ideal candidate will have a background in corporate financial systems and experience managing finance projects. Additionally, expertise in Agile methodologies, Agile portfolio management, Agile funding, and executive presence are essential for success in this role.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead technology projects related to finance transformation, with a focus on data and analytics initiatives such as Data Warehouse, Data Hub, Data Governance, Analytics, and Predictive Analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, IT, and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and effectively manage project resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and key decisions to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Manage Agile portfolios and funding allocations for technology projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities and objectives.
  • Provide executive presence and leadership in project governance forums, steering committees, and executive briefings.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project team and across the organization.
Knowledge:
  • In-depth knowledge of data and analytics concepts and technologies, including Data Warehouse, Data Hub, Data Governance, Analytics, and Predictive Analytics.
  • Familiarity with Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) is a plus.
  • Understanding of corporate financial systems and processes, with experience managing finance projects.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and Agile portfolio management.

 Qualifications/Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner) is preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) is advantageous.
 Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
 
Experience:
  • Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in project management, with a focus on technology projects related to finance transformation.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Agile portfolio management.
  • Experience managing data and analytics projects, including Data Warehouse, Data Hub, Data Governance, Analytics, and Predictive Analytics.
  • Familiarity with corporate financial systems and processes, with experience managing finance projects.
