Job Title: ITProject Manager Duration: 3 Months (With possible extension) Location: Maple Grove MN Work Schedule: Onsite(Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
Responsibility:
Individual will develop, execute and manage IT projects within the defined scope.
Works with business and IT management to establish project goals, objectives and deliverables.
Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues, and risks will affect projects, working with the department, management, and sponsor to reach an agreement on resolution.
Measure performance to ensure the project is progressing as compared to the original plan and budget.
Develops and executes a work plan, obtaining authorized resources to ensure all activities are performed.
Gather lessons learned and obtain final project approval from the sponsor and stakeholders.
Communicate project progress by producing project reports. These reports provide timely and accurate project status and decision-support information to the Project Team and Department manager.
Coordinate resources to address project needs and effectively assign tasks and deliverables to team members based on their abilities. Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
At the department level, assist program or project managers with phases of a larger project.
Make decisions that impact project-level activities. Influence project-level budget.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Experience level moved to 10 years required – IT experience preferred but not required. The position does not involve any implementation or IT technical experience
Program support – waterfall experience preferred, some years of scrum okay, but need PM and waterfall experience
