This is a 3-Month internship with the possibility of extension.
The intern will support the HOA & Municipalities team in protecting the company's financial health and ensuring property compliance across a large real estate portafolio. This role involves identifying, tracking, and resolving notices from Homeowners Associations and government entities-such as liens, violations and registration requirements-to prevent fines and legal exposure.
Key responsibilities:
Create, maintain, and update accurate recors within CRM systems like Salesforce or property management software like Yardi.
Communicate professionally with external entities, including HOAs, municiplaities and lienholders, to request documentation, itemized ledgers or confirm compliance status.
Partner with internal departments-such as Maintenance, Legal and Constructions-to coordinate the actions required to resolve compliance issues or complete property registrations.
Review and validate incoming notices, upload supporting evidence (photos, invoices, certificates), and ensure all files are correctly archived upon resolution.
Assist in tracking project deadlines and contributing to weekly reports regarding active cases, resolution status and financial exposure.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Law, Real Estate, Finance or a related field.
B2+ level or higher.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
High level of accuracy in handling sensitive financial or legal documentation.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, track various jurisdictions, and meet strict deadlines simultaneously.
Familiarity with Salesforce or Yardi is NOT a requirement, but it is a significant plus.
