Title: Instructional Elearning Designer Duration: 15 Months Location: Chicago, IL, (3 days a week Hybrid- Anchor Day Tuesday, 2 other flex -days (suggested Monday and Wednesday)
Project Overview: The instructional eLearning designer will take regulation and turn it into training content and courses.
Contractor's Role: As part of a highly visible team responsible for developing enterprise programming that drives behavior around risk, controls, remediation, and testing, the Instructional eLearning Designer for Risk and Controls Enhancement will play a key role in ensuring our partners are equipped to manage risk at client.

Expert-level: Program design and development skills (assessment strategies, instructional design, adult learning approaches, audience analysis, outcome measurement, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Authoring tools – Articulate Storyline Suite
PowerPoint presentation construction
Facilitator and instructor guide creation
Communication skills (written and oral)
Work equally effectively as a team member and as an independent L&D Consultant

Nice to haves:
Minimum 3 years of experience in an educational, corporate training, or professional services environment, creating strategies and developing functional eLearning training solutions, preferably in a Compliance or Risk and Controls space within a GSIP financial institution
Vendor sourcing and vendor management
Instructional Design experience within eLearning and classroom must have design experience
Previous FS or other highly regulated industry experience
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Consulting. Effectively consult with work stream leads and subject matter experts to understand the business requirements and get to the root of the learning need(s).
Learning design and development. Collaboratively create and implement of a portfolio of Risk and Control development solutions that yield the greatest benefit to client.
Driving innovation in learning design. Set the bar for innovative leaning design ensuring internally designed and purchased solutions are relevant, fresh, and engaging across a range of digital learning mediums.
Project Management. Manage learning project plans through the ADDIE life cycle. Expected to take the initiative to conceptualize and lead experimental projects in consultation with leaders/experts. You will be provided with guidance on determining methods and procedures for new assignments.
Measurement. Continually assess programs against expectations and processes and recommend/implement changes that drive efficiencies and tighter integration with other workstreams/programs.
