Infrastructure Manager - SCCM/MECM 6 Months Montreal, Quebec (Hybrid – 50% Onsite) Notes: The main objective of this position is to provide level 3 management for Arval project related to workstations executing required tasks to implement the new technology to Arval offices. Additionally assisting other IT teams to successfully implement project. And finally manage installation of software on workstations deploying standard packages, perform remediation actions of vulnerabilities and handle tickets that are escalated to the team. Position Objectives:
The main objective of this position is to provide level 3 management for end users and workstations specifically, but not limited, to a project or initiative in progress, assisting other IT teams including Service Desk when they cannot resolve the issues happening on workstations.
Additionally manage installation of software on workstations deploying standard packages, perform remediations of vulnerabilities and handle tickets that are escalated to the team.
This position requires upholding Bank standards and maintaining the progress on delivery of assigned projects.
This position requires day-to-day support activities, administration and projects associated the entire end user workstation platform based on Microsoft Windows 10.
Position Requirements:
5 to 7 years as Technical Expert support and managing Microsoft Windows clients (focus on Windows 10)
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Configuration Management (SCCM) for packaging distribution and removals
Expert knowledge of PowerShell and shell scripting
Expert knowledge of ITIL methodology
Expert knowledge of Active Directory related to user, group and computer management
Good knowledge of Project Management concepts
Good knowledge of working based on chronograms and milestones deliveries
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent English is mandatory since the role supports multiple countries in the Americas region.
Service oriented, positive, committed and enthusiastic team player.
Availability to work and perform tasks out of business hours (8am to 6pm)
Bachelor degree or equivalent
Position Responsibilities:
Take part of the Release Control Management team for Americas helping, testing and release in production approximately 150 apps per month
Manage the deployment of software via Microsoft Configuration Management (SCCM) with expertise to split the installation into multiple waves, execute step-and-action procedures and use features to cleanup the previous version of software
Be part of the support team inside of End User Computing for Americas to handle all the tickets assigned to us
Create and execute scripts based on Shell and Powershell
Strictly abide and follow the company policy and procedures pertaining to change and incident management
Contribute to ensuring that all systems are deployed consistent with group standards and best practices
