Title: In-Office Mail Admin Location: Irving, TX-Onsite Duration: 12 Months with conversion possibility
The In-Office Mail Agent is responsible for managing and processing incoming checks received from the mailroom and other Business Centre departments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper routing.
Key responsibilities:
Validate and identify checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper handling
Route checks to the Payment Processing Center in accordance with established procedures
Forward applicable checks to the Home Office for general ledger posting
Support urgent requests by picking up emergency checks for ART in the office
Image and upload checks to imaging system and process them according to specified instructions
Process payment allocations in a timely and accurate manner
Handle account terminations, ensuring all steps are completed in accordance with policy
Manage title release requests and associated processes with attention to detail and compliance requirements
Key Competencies:
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify irregularities or discrepancies
Confidence to escalate questions or concerns promptly when something appears out of the ordinary
Effective communication and coordination with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing
