Job Description

Title: IAM Engineer (Okta)
Location: Richardson, TX – (Tues/Wed/Thurs) Hybrid
Duration: 6 Months
 
Job Description:
  • Design, develop, and maintain solutions that support identity and access management for our clients
  • Strong Regex skills
  • Troubleshoot and resolve access-related issues and incidents.
  • Integrate Okta with various applications, directories, and identity sources.
  • Configure and customize Okta to meet specific business requirements.
  • Work closely with application owners and teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Enhance security by implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA), SSO, and adaptive authentication.
  • Monitor and audit Okta for security compliance and recommend improvements.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance and scalability of Okta solutions.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues.
  • Act as an escalation point for Okta-related incidents and support requests.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to address critical issues.
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments in the Okta platform.
Years of Experience needed:      
  • 2+ Years of Experience with IAM with a focus on Okta.
Top Must have Skills:    
  • SSO Integration with Okta
  • Strong knowledge of IAM principles, protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth, LDAP), and security best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to follow and execute SOPs.
Level of Education:       
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Systems/Software proficiency:
  • IAM protocols, (SAML, OIDC, OAuth, LDAP), and security best practices are required
Certifications/Licenses:
  • Okta Certified Administrator is a plus
Interview Process:       
  • Two interviews
