Job Description
The Instrumentation and Control Technician performs the maintenance and repairs of the power plant's electrical system and performs the instrumentation and automation.
Participate in PLC programming for the use of equipment.
Participate in the preventive and curative maintenance of electrical systems.
Perform routine inspections of instruments and respond to emergencies
Update, modify and test various operation sequences (programming) and graphic pages
Calibrate measuring instruments such as voltmeters, recorders, manometers, relays, thermostats and other delicate electrical devices
Install and calibrate new instruments and recommend certain specifications for these
instruments.
Use advanced schedule, tracking, trend and history software to manage all instruments, controllers, converters and other measuring devices.
Troubleshoot and repair existing problems utilizing electrical tools.
