Job Description

Job Title: Human Resources Assistant | Level II
Duration: 6 Months assignment with possible extension
Location: ST. PAUL, MN 55102 (Hybrid role after 30 - 90 days training)
 
Description: As a part of the Workforce Data Administration (WDA) team, The Representative, HR Operations, has an in depth understanding and knowledge of company HR policies and practices. Ensures data accuracy in company HR system of record, Workday. Responsible for the new hire onboarding experience including required compliance activities (i.e. I-9 forms, Wage forms, etc.). Partners with managers and employees to ensure employee life cycle change (i.e. Promotions, Transfers, etc.) are processed timely and accurately. As a part of the Learning & Talent Administration (LTA) team, the Representative, HR Operations, gains an understanding of company HR policies and practices. Provides administrative support to Enterprise Talent Management, ED&I, and Employee Relations.
  • Understands and applies concepts of HR policies, practices, and technology to effectively provide guidance and resolutions to internal and external customers.
  • Responsible for routine data entry and case support.
  • Handles various customer transactions to ensure timely and accurate results (i.e. paycheck, benefits, and HR data).
  • Researches, analyzes and resolves issues utilizing various HR technologies and internal reference materials.
  • Tracks all inquiries and collaborates with areas across HR to provide resolution needed.
  • Maintains accurate documentations of all questions/concerns from all internal and external customers.
  • Ensures all policies and procedures are kept up to date.
  • Proactively provides input for ideas and suggestions to improve workflow processes.
  • Position may work on special projects as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related preferred.
  • 2 years of HR or equivalent customer service experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with Workday preferred.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred
  • Customer service oriented, verbal and written communication skills, results driven, excellent organization, and prioritization skills.

MUST HAVE:
  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • 6 – 12 months of HR or equivalent experience required
