Work Schedule: Hybrid – Four (4) days onsite and one (1) day remote per week. Schedule can be from 7AM to 4PM or 8AM to 5PM.
Support the administration, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), primarily Workday.
Serve as a key point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries, providing technical and functional support to HR teams and business stakeholders across Costa Rica, the United States, and India.
Partner with HR teams, managers, and senior leadership to understand business requirements, identify system solutions, and support the implementation of HR technology improvements.
Configure and maintain Workday business processes, templates, questionnaires, organizational structures, and other system components based on operational requirements.
Support HR processes across Workday modules, including Human Capital Management (HCM), Performance Management, Learning, Recruiting, and Compensation.
Manage, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve HRIS-related requests through ticket management platforms such as Jira, ServiceNow, or similar systems.
Build, maintain, and troubleshoot HRIS reports, custom reports, and calculated fields to support business operations, audits, and decision-making.
Perform data audits, reconciliations, and system validations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of employee information.
Support employee lifecycle transactions, including hiring, transfers, promotions, organizational changes, compensation updates, and terminations.
Assist with mass data updates, system configurations, and Workday transactions using Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs) and other available tools.
Conduct system testing for new configurations, enhancements, business process changes, and system updates.
Support Workday Learning administration, including learning assignments, campaigns, programs, course offerings, and related reporting.
Assist with Performance Management processes, including performance review cycles, system testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to resolve complex system issues and support HRIS implementations.
Create and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), user guides, and training materials.
Support HR initiatives, system enhancements, process automation, and continuous improvement projects.
Independently manage HRIS-related responsibilities, prioritize requests, and provide timely solutions to stakeholders across multiple locations.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience in HRIS administration, HR technology support, system configuration, or related roles.
Hands-on experience supporting HR systems, including troubleshooting, configuration, reporting, and system maintenance.
Experience with Workday is highly preferred.
Familiarity with Workday HCM, Talent Management, Performance Management, or Learning modules is a plus.
Experience using ticket management systems such as Jira, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
Understanding of HR processes, employee lifecycle management, and HR technology operations.
Experience gathering business requirements and translating stakeholder needs into practical system solutions.
Familiarity with HRIS implementations, system enhancements, testing, and process improvements.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Ability to communicate effectively with managers, senior leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders across different countries.
Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned responsibilities, and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple requests, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Previous experience supporting international or geographically distributed teams is preferred.
This position is part of the Human Resources team and provides HRIS support to stakeholders across Costa Rica, the United States, and India.
The selected candidate will serve as a primary HRIS resource in Costa Rica, working closely with HR leadership and international teams.
Workday experience is highly valued; however, candidates with strong transferable HRIS experience may also be considered.
There is no strict minimum number of years of experience. Emphasis will be placed on practical system knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and the candidate's capacity to work independently.
