Job Description

Job Title: HEOR Manager - PCOR (100% REMOTE)
Duration: 06 Months
Location: 100% Remote
Minimum Pay Rate : $90 an hour 

 
• Experience with HEOR-related projects (real-world evidence [RWE] generation, clinical outcomes assessment [COA]/patient reported outcomes [PRO], economic modeling, assess current evidence gaps/strategy, perform literature reviews and make literature-based recommendations). Note: expectation is not that the contractor will have extensive experience with all of these aspects, but should be strong in some core areas and familiar/capable of supporting others with guidance
• Ability to review and contribute to study output reports, clinical trial documents (eg, protocols, clinical study reports [CSRs], etc.) for HEOR-related aspects (eg, COAs), etc.
• Strong communicator able to work semi-autonomously who is reliable/accountable in their work.
 
Responsibilities:
Candidate Requirements:
s M.S. or Ph.D. in health economics, pharmaceutical sciences, or related discipline
s Experience with industry cross-collaboration amongst functions involved in product launches (medical affairs, commercial/marketing, market access, clinical development, regulatory, etc.)
s Minimum 2-5 years of full-time industry or consulting experience in HEOR required

•Conduct Health Economics and Outcomes Research projects under the supervision of the manager to support the Value Proposition to Payors, Patients and Prescribers
•Applies extensive technical knowledge and experience to plan, execute, and interpret research and data collection activities.
•Actively participates in cross-functional meetings (eg, Global Brand Teams) as subject matter expert for tactical discussions. Monitors meetings for issues that should be addressed with manager. Must be able to influence activities in a matrix organization
•Independently identifies appropriate internal and external data resources and external expertise to execute strategies and research activities led by HEOR
Assures alignment of research activities with Scientific Research Annual Plan; communicates any changes from plan in timely manner. Responsible for appropriate utilization of allocated project budgets
•Develops and maintains effective cross-functional working relationships to assure effective teamwork
with assigned teams
• Monitors scientific, regulatory and reimbursement/access trends, events and policies for their potential to affect current research responsibilities. Assures compliance of HEOR studies with established research standards and principles

Scope of Services for Potential Candidate
s Represent HEOR in cross-functional meetings for pipeline assets
s Collaborate with Patient Centered Outcomes Research (PCOR) function to align on clinical outcomes assessment (COA) strategy in clinical trials
s Review and contribute to clinical trial documents (eg, protocols, clinical study reports [CSRs], etc.) for HEOR-related aspects (eg, COAs)
s Review and contribute to regulatory communications based on COA strategy
s Report to and inform HEOR therapeutic area (TA) strategy lead key information
s Compile data plans, assess current evidence gaps/strategy
s Perform literature reviews and make literature based recommendations

Primary responsibilities include the following:
s Develop (in collaboration with PCOR) and pull through COA strategy for pipeline assets
s Review technical documentation related to clinical trial development / operationalization
s Work with cross-functional teams and collaborations
