As the Head of Information Technology Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our IT operations, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our technology infrastructure. You will lead a team of IT professionals and collaborate closely with other departments to align technology initiatives with business objectives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with extensive experience in IT management and a proven track record of implementing and optimizing technology solutions. Job Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to support business objectives.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including network administration, system backups, and user support.
Lead the implementation and management of DevOps practices to enhance collaboration, automation, and efficiency in software development and deployment.
Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards, ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability.
Establish and maintain service management processes and procedures, including incident management, change management, and service level agreements (SLAs).
Manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, utilization tracking, and disposal.
Develop and enforce information security policies and procedures to protect the organization's data and systems from threats and vulnerabilities.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.
Experience, Education & Designations
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on operations.
Experience with DevOps tools and practices, such as continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), containerization, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
Experience with asset management tools and processes.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and security systems.
Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, with experience managing Shopify front-end solutions.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications and experience with Azure middleware.
Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks such as ITIL.
Deep understanding of information security concepts and best practices.
Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) frameworks.
