Job Description

Amazon Ads looking for a talented, customerfocused visual designer to join the Amazon Ads Creative Studio design team for a five month contract. The ideal candidate will have the ability to deliver designs based on existing style guides as well as brand guidelines in a fastpaced environment. This position requires a strong understanding of visual design and best practices including layout, hierarchy, typography and illustration. The ability to manage multiple projects, communicate efficiently with key stakeholders and work crossfunctionally is essential. Online portfolio of work is REQUIRED.Qualifications: Excellent working knowledge of PowerPoint, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign Able to effectively communicate and ensure the visual design represents the desired message within brand guidelines Strong time management skills and ability to be selfdirected as needed, while following the Creative Studio SOPs BABS in Visual ArtsDesign or equivalent 2 years of relevant experience with visual design and digital environments Strong portfolio with engaging, diverse designs in the digital space, demonstrating a passion for design and attention to detail A deep understanding of information architecture, hierarchy, and layout Motivated, organized, and accountable for their work and that of the team An eagerness to collaborate across disciplines with team members at all levels Strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, and Workfront a plusResponsibilities include: Designing strongly branded promotional graphics Developing clean and effective templates and style guides Fulfilling multiple project requests while simultaneously meeting tight deadlines
