Title: Global Community Manager III Location: Remote Duration: 6 months
Summary In this role, they will collaborate closely with the community management agency on engagement, reporting, and strategy. While the agency handles day-to-day community management and moderation, the Community Manager will analyze both quantitative and qualitative data, providing recommendations to improve the overall community experience. They will also be an integral part of the community listening and insights engine, serving the broader team responsible for building creative and messaging to serve customers. This highly collaborative role requires working cross-functionally with digital, creative, international programs, and product teams, exhibiting strong decision-making for impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Be the expert in Reality Lab’s community, understanding their interests and behaviors to connect and engage with them effectively. Share these insights regularly with the team.
Help craft Reality Lab brands’ engagement strategies, including tone of voice executions, pitching new engagement strategies, and finding new avenues to embed the brand in these communities to support AR/VR & Tech Innovation.
Oversee and own the vendor’s community management efforts, including replying to comments on owned content and engaging on outside content from @Metaquest, @Raybanmeta, and @Horizonworld handles.
Analyze community data and relevant trends (e.g., sentiment, conversation trends on platform & via social listening tools) to produce actionable recommendations and optimizations for community building and engagement.
Partner with Social Media Managers and Creative Strategists to create community-first social creative and experiences, including text-based posts and IRL community engagement activations.
Navigate and support the crisis response team during peak moments, escalating sensitive community conversations and providing recommendations.
Required Experience:
Passionate about AR/VR & Tech Innovation and excited about the role.
4+ years of experience in community management and social strategy for digital-first brands driving culture.
Proactive in pitching ideas, taking ownership of day-to-day work, and highlighting team achievements.
Deep expertise and understanding of social platforms, community behaviors, and customer mindsets, with the ability to share insights concisely.
Strong copywriting skills for social copy and presentations.
Experience navigating sensitive, peak brand moments like crises, issues, and news through social marketing.
Excellent account management and organizational skills, adhering to deadlines.
Understanding of how all prominent social platforms work, with the ability to publish if needed.
Preferred Experience:
Experience building queries in a social listening tool and optimizing and reporting.
Familiarity with MELTWATER, ASANA, and BRANDWATCH tools.
Content creation experience, including IG reels, TikTok, and Threads.
Managing community groups on platforms like Facebook Groups, Discord, and Reddit.
Staying up to date with industry trends related to Community Management and Social.
