Duties:
YOUR IMPACT
 
Loan Operations team is seeking a professional to support the closing of Commercial Real Estate & Warehouse Financing loans. The role entails collaborating with the business, technologists and other operational groups to originate, service, and close out loan portfolios. We seek team orientated candidates who can demonstrate excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage competing tasks and prioritize risk accordingly in a fast paced and demanding environment. Team members are expected to be able to consistently deliver on day-to-day execution as well as contribute to strategic organizational goals.

The Loans Middle Office team is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate transaction processing and data maintenance across CRE & Warehouse products. The team is at the forefront of shaping and driving change in the industry with the ultimate aim of delivering greater accuracy, control and efficiency for our clients and our business. The functional processes managed by the team are primarily aligned with a loan’s life cycle: from the initial commitment to the loan, trade settlement, funding, payment processing, and off-boarding of the loans through paydown, sale or securitization.
 
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
 
Support various businesses, including the Real Estate Finance Group (Commercial Real Estate) & Warehouse Financing Teams
Investigate and resolve transactional issues.
Review daily exception reporting and resolve any outstanding items pertaining to assigned portfolio
Showcase your ability to function as a team player in a highly collaborative environment while working closely with internal and external stakeholders such as Business Groups, Reporting Controllers, Risk, Technology and Operations Leadership.
Enhance your knowledge and establish expertise in Regulatory data reporting and Audit data submissions
Develop your analytical skills working on large sets of reportable data and resolving exceptions
Cultivate problem solving skills by continuous gap assessment & remediation to mitigate the risk of inaccurate data
Support MIS reporting, including key risk indicators, trends and milestones of the team
 
Skills:   
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience in Loan Operations a plus
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite in particular Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
  • Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership and accountability of projects
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Fast learner with a proactive approach
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment; need to think and make sound decisions quickly
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cash/Wire Reconciliation experience
  • Financial or quantitative educational background
  • Aptitude for building relationships and ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal clients with differing levels of product experience
Education: Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
