Job Description

Job Title: Full Stack Developer
Location: Newark, NJ – Hybrid (2/3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 6+ Months (Temp to Perm Hire)

About Role:
This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented Full Stack Developer who can navigate all aspects of the system development life cycle while prioritizing security, user experience, and system reliability. The candidate for this position will be a key member of a diverse team of developers working on the client's Authenticated Experience
 Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse project requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of the authenticated web experience goals.
  • Design and implement secure and efficient full-stack solutions, integrating front-end and back-end technologies to deliver a seamless user experience.
  • Develop and maintain authentication processes, ensuring robust security measures and compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough testing of applications, identifying and addressing potential issues to guarantee a reliable and secure web experience.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices, actively incorporating new tools and methodologies into our development process.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces, enhancing the overall user experience.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues, addressing, and resolving system defects in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Contribute to ongoing maintenance and optimization efforts, continuously improving the performance and functionality of the authenticated web experience.
  • Document development processes, code, and system architecture for future reference and knowledge sharing within the team.
 Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
  • At least 5 - 8 years of experience working in technology. 
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a focus on front-end technologies.
    • Strong proficiency in Angular; React experience is a plus.
    • Responsive Design: Skills in creating responsive and mobile-friendly user interfaces to ensure a consistent experience across various devices.
  • APIs and RESTful Services: Knowledge of designing, building, and consuming APIs, as well as experience with RESTful services for seamless communication between front-end and back-end components.
  • Experience in Microservices Architecture with Spring Boot and ORM Frameworks like Hibernate and JPA
  • Exposure to relational database like SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
  • Version Control/Git: Strong understanding and experience with version control systems like Git for tracking changes and collaborating with a team.
  • Testing and Debugging: Skill in writing unit tests, conducting debugging, and implementing testing strategies to ensure the reliability of the application.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile development environment, understanding sprint cycles, and participating in regular scrum meetings.
  • Experience in Microservices Architecture with Spring Boot and ORM Frameworks like Hibernate and JPA
 Must have six (6) years of experience with the following tech stacks:
  • JavaScript, HTML, CSS, CSS Pre-processors (Sass/Less), JQuery, Angular, Bootstrap, NodeJS, ExpressJS, Bower, Gulp, Grunt, Webpack, Browserify, Web APIs, Typescript, ES6, Git Based Source Control Systems, Subversion, Micro-services, performance tuning services, Jenkins, Docker, Developer Tools, Testing/Debugging, Web Sessions, Browser storage, JWT (JSON Web tokens), Cookies, Web Performance, Experience with Automation software.
  • Experience building and supporting enterprise level applications, using any of the following technologies is a plus: Spring Boot, Swagger, RDB, NoSQL DB, Kafka, Cloud (AWS)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of AWS or Google Cloud is a plus.
