Job Title: Finance Analytics Manager Duration: 6+ Months Location: San Francisco, CA (100% Remote - need to work in PST hours)
Job Description:
Support partners across the client, with infra projects focusing on improving current infrastructure reporting and analytics.
You will identify and interpret new data sources using Snowflake, create and monitor errors and alerts to maintain data quality in our current processes.
Focus on reporting accuracy to improve quality in data driven decision making.
Respond to operational needs working on ad-hoc projects and analytical support.
Create documentation of existing processes, data definitions and business metrics.
Support and work with cross-functional teams in a virtual and dynamic environment.
Contribute to month-end processes, ensuring information is accurate, maintaining and applying changes if needed.
Help manage important financial data and processes.
Work in tandem with Business partners to identify their opportunities, contributing to make strategic business decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Skills:
5+ years of relevant professional experience
Proficiency in SQL (Window functions, create, joins, ETL’s design)
Proficiency in Excel or Gsheets (you should be prepared for a case study)
Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
Demonstrated financial and/or analytical experience including familiarity with concepts of forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and/or data interpretation and analysis
Solid experience demonstrating problem solving and root cause analysis
Detail oriented and a demonstrated strong sense of business management; proven ability to develop new ideas and ability to deliver solutions
Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a dynamic, ever-growing and often ambiguous environment.
Experience in a fintech company
Experience in data & analytics
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
