Job Description

Job Title: Field Service Technician
Location: Manassas, VA 20110
Duration: 6 months’ Assignment
Shift/Hours: 40hours/week, M to F
Work Model: Fully Onsite
 
Job Description:
  • Manages all activities required to provide technical services to internal customers by identifying, prioritizing, and confirming resolution of reported problems with desktop, laptop, and networked systems.
  • Ensures that all phases of desktop support, including installations, upgrades, software, hardware, operating systems, and operating system configuration issues, are properly coordinated, monitored, tracked, and resolved.
  • Executes information technology projects to ensure success of department objectives.
  • May perform training programs designed to educate an organization’s computer users about basic computer use and specialized applications.
  • Maintain an expert level of computer literacy including a working knowledge of Operating Systems, primarily Windows desktops and laptops, and use of mobile devices.
  • Initial training may be provided in client facility in Manassas Virginia.
Qualifications preferred:
  • 2-3 years of related experience.
  • CompTIA A+ and Net+ Certifications, or equivalent associates degree, or years or experience.
