Job Title:Field Service Technician Location:Manassas, VA 20110 Duration: 6 months’ Assignment Shift/Hours: 40hours/week, M to F Work Model: Fully Onsite
Job Description:
Manages all activities required to provide technical services to internal customers by identifying, prioritizing, and confirming resolution of reported problems with desktop, laptop, and networked systems.
Ensures that all phases of desktop support, including installations, upgrades, software, hardware, operating systems, and operating system configuration issues, are properly coordinated, monitored, tracked, and resolved.
Executes information technology projects to ensure success of department objectives.
May perform training programs designed to educate an organization’s computer users about basic computer use and specialized applications.
Maintain an expert level of computer literacy including a working knowledge of Operating Systems, primarily Windows desktops and laptops, and use of mobile devices.
Initial training may be provided in client facility in Manassas Virginia.
Qualifications preferred:
2-3 years of related experience.
CompTIA A+ and Net+ Certifications, or equivalent associates degree, or years or experience.
