Job Description

Job Title- Field Service Technician I
Location- Las Vegas, NV, USA, 89110
Duration- 3 months (temp to hire)
Shift- Saturday/Sunday/Monday 9 am - 6 pm with a 1 hr lunch
 
Note: The transition rate upon full-time hire to the client will be $18.25 for qualified technicians.
 
Responsibilities
  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
  • Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
  • Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
  • Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, and orders and replaces parts as needed.
  • Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
  • May require an associate's degree or its equivalent and entry level - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Works under immediate supervision.
  • Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
  • Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
Required Skills
  • Must have good admin and organizational skills.
  • This is a Tech 1 position must have basic knowledge of printers, laptops, desktops, servers, networks.
  • Candidate must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Technician will travel to each client’s location
  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs Desktop, Laptop, Server and Printer
  • Works under general supervision.
  • Local Travel required for daily dispatch, Driver's License, and reliable Vehicle.
  • A+ certification required within 6 months of hire.
