Job Title- Field Service Technician I Location- Las Vegas, NV, USA, 89110 Duration- 3 months (temp to hire) Shift- Saturday/Sunday/Monday 9 am - 6 pm with a 1 hr lunch
Note: The transition rate upon full-time hire to the client will be $18.25 for qualified technicians.
Responsibilities
Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, and orders and replaces parts as needed.
Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
May require an associate's degree or its equivalent and entry level - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Works under immediate supervision.
Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
Required Skills
Must have good admin and organizational skills.
This is a Tech 1 position must have basic knowledge of printers, laptops, desktops, servers, networks.
Candidate must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs)
Technician will travel to each client’s location
Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs Desktop, Laptop, Server and Printer
Works under general supervision.
Local Travel required for daily dispatch, Driver's License, and reliable Vehicle.
A+ certification required within 6 months of hire.
