Summary: As an Engineering Project Manager within the Connector Product Design organization, you will be responsible for managing the development and implementation process with the engineering teams. This entails managing the design and development of connectors (e.g. USB, HDMI, Power, Lightning, etc.) for a variety of client products, driving day-to-day activities to meet the overall program objectives and focusing on mechanical engineering design, development planning and validation.

Drive day-to-day activities to meet overall project objectives/schedule from development to ramp.
Enable the development effort by implementing an efficient, streamlined process within the team.
Create and maintain project development schedules.
Manage resources effectively to execute projects on schedule.
Prioritize across multiple programs with various levels of complexity.
Collaborate across engineering, operations and cross-functional teams to meet aggressive cost, schedule, and quality/process goals.
Lead cross-functional communication between various project teams and external vendors. Implement schedule/risk mitigations and drive timely issue resolution.
Ability to provide status updates or highlight issues to any audience.
Understand technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing together key stakeholders for decision making.
Key Qualifications:
Excellent communication, organizational, presentation and leadership skills.
Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience.
Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated critical thinking capabilities.
Understands rapid development cycles and is adaptable in the face of ambiguity.
Redirect pitfalls and develop improved course of action.
Detailed knowledge of product development processes and strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
Experience interfacing with product design, operations, cross-functional teams and managing international vendors.
At least 2-4+ years of combined experience in project management and mechanical engineering delivering products comprised of various materials and high esthetic quality.
Education & Experience:
BS ME degree or equivalent required.
