About the Role As a Digital Operational Readiness & Resiliency Engineer, you will drive the design and delivery of digital solutions that improve operational readiness, resiliency, automation, and governance across the Service Transition framework. Leveraging the Bank’s technology ecosystem, you will identify operational readiness gaps and design scalable, logic?driven digital solutions that integrate processes and platforms to reduce toil, improve reliability, and strengthen auditability. This consultant role will take ownership of complex initiatives end-to-end, providing technical leadership through structured business analysis, strong engineering judgment, solution design, and hands-on delivery execution. You will influence solution direction, partner with cross-functional teams, and apply emerging capabilities, including AI-enabled tooling, to transform how operational readiness outcomes are delivered and sustained across the Service Transition ecosystem. Key Accountabilities
Identify, assess, and solution resiliency and operational readiness opportunities across the Service Transition framework and supporting processes
Own complex initiatives end?to?end, from problem definition and logic design through delivery coordination, adoption, and continuous optimization
Design scalable, resilient solutions that reduce toil through process improvement, automation, and enterprise platform integration
Design, build and deliver end?to?end automations for Service Transition processes using enterprise platforms and APIs (Microsoft Power Platform, ServiceNow, JIRA, Power BI, and related tools)
Design and support structured data and evidence capture, storage, retention, and verification solutions to enable auditability, governance, and automation
Support QA, unit, integration, and UAT testing, pilot releases, and post?deployment optimization in alignment with enterprise change and release practices
Act as a technical SME in cross?functional discussions on system integrations, digital data availability, observability, and readiness criteria
Partner with development and platform teams to deliver resiliency?focused implementations and contribute to automation and tooling backlogs
Advance Digital Operational Readiness & Resiliency by applying SRE principles (toil reduction, reliability signals, automation-first design) within the Service Transition framework
Validate improvement opportunities through proof?of?concepts, targeted experimentation, analysis, and stakeholder feedback
Explore and assess opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, including AI, cloud engineering, and automation platforms
Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed
Qualifications & Skills
5-7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong ability to translate business, operational, governance and stakeholder requirements into clear functional logic solution designs, and technical specifications
Experience designing and delivering rules?driven, workflow?based digital solutions in regulated or governance?heavy environments
Experience designing or supporting solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerApps Canvas apps, Power Automate flows, SharePoint Lists, Dataverse or related data sources, and integration patterns
Demonstrated ability to operate with high autonomy and ownership on complex, cross-functional technology initiatives
Experience or practical exposure to AI?enabled solutions, analytics, or automation to improve operational effectiveness
Strong analytical and problem?solving skills for non?routine, cross?functional challenges
Strong systems thinking with demonstrated ability to reason across processes, platforms, data flows, controls, and failure modes
Deep understanding of enterprise technology environments and software development and delivery methodologies (Agile, iterative, waterfall)
Working knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Excellent communication and influencing skills across technical and non?technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization
