Job Title: Delivery Associate Job Location: Freeport, PA 16229 Job Duration: 11 Months Estimated Start Date: ASAP Sunday – Thursday schedule; 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 4:30 PM
SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED These resources are Delivery Associate in the RSR network, receiving and dispatching packages at the Clien'ts Storage Units (ASU). This position requires the associate to work in a fixed shift (Front Half, Back Half, Overlap), receiving packages (Unloading, staging) from the box trucks/delivery drivers, and dispatching the packages to the Flex Driver Partners at the time of Flex dispatch hours window (Flex block).
REQUIRED SKILLS 1. Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer package deliveries. 2. Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently tilt, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. 3. Stand/walk up to 6 hours during shifts. 4. Ability to receive, dispatch, and interact with packages and delivery drivers and partners. 5. Ability to scan all packages as necessary, and use provided laptop to communicate and record standard work operations. 6. Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments).
PREFERRED SKILLS 1. Delivery associate/manager experience - over 2 years. 2. Delivery operations experience is a plus.
