Job Description

Title: Data Delivery Lead
Duration: 5 - 6 Months
Location: North Riverwoods Boulevard, Illinois


Summary:
Seeking a Data Delivery Lead to orchestrate end-to-end Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to architect, model, and design data, dashboards, and reporting solutions across diverse business functions.

Requirements:
• Work with a cross-functional team of developers and business analysts to deliver on data and analytics initiatives
• Define, develop and implement data engineering, data warehousing, and data analytics solutions
• Create and review technical designs that align with our business segments
• Possess advanced level knowledge of the tools and processes required, and function well in large-scale, highly complex, cross-functional data platform environment
• Work on developing dashboards and reports on different data sources like Big Data, Snowflake, Oracle, and other technology stack, text files and excel documents
• Advanced scripting and ETL, data modeling (star schema), and work with large data sets
• Oversees feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and the establishment and implementation of new or revised projects/ programs
• Ability to plan, control and supervise multiple BI projects and activities simultaneously
• Leading small group of offshore developers on multiple parallel projects
• Assigns work assignments to team members and directs activities, providing technical guidance and completing individual tasks as needed
• Working with IT management, product owners, business managers and business analysts, lead the effort to evaluate user requests and determine solutions to business problems
• Expert knowledge of IT systems development, including process mapping, budgeting and timeline creation
• Responsible for liaison between IT and Operations team to drive closure to any urgent on demand issues

Qualifications:
• 10+ years of overall IT experience in BI/ DW/ Analytics space.
• 4 years bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field
• Proven experience designing and implementing solutions in modern data warehouses (like Snowflake) including data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization.
• Strong proficiency in relevant languages and databases (SQL, Python, PySpark, SnowPark etc.) for data manipulation, data storage and automation tasks.
• Solid understanding of ETL/ Orchestration tools (Informatica ETL (IICS and PowerCenter), AWS Glue, etc.
• BI/DW and Analytics experience will include one or more of the following roles: Data Delivery Lead, Data/ System Analyst, Data/ Reporting Developer
• Proven track record in project delivery involving business, functional and technical teams.
• Proven experience identifying strategies for risk mitigation to reduce or eliminate issues.
• Experience with leading teams, demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams towards task completion.
• Experience with Service Operations in a multi-sourced and multi-project environment.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, QlikView, Qlik Sense, is preferable.
• Experience in Lifesciences commercial operations domain is preferred, but not required.
• An Agile mindset with experience working in Agile environment
• A spirit of collaboration and transparent communication
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to learn quickly
