Job Title: Data Analyst Location: 100% Remote or Irvine, CA (Hybrid) Duration: 6+ Months
About Role: The Associate Specialist will support Corporate Compliance Program and will work closely with cross-functional teams to review, research, and resolve data related to HCP profiles and HCP transactions. The transparency analyst will have an exciting opportunity to support Edwards’ global transparency reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, research, and resolve data irregularities in Edwards’ transparency reporting system with both internal/external stakeholders.
Work with cross-functional teams (IT, HCP Data Stewards, Finance, Compliance, Business, Transparency system vendor) in resolving issues related to HCP profiles and spend data.
Validate HCP profile information through data validation vendors, federal database, state license verification lookup, and general internet searches to ensure data accuracy.
Compile necessary research findings and perform data collection to prepare for transparency reporting.
Communicate with business stakeholders to achieve data integrity and ensure deadlines are met.
Assist in providing transaction details and necessary backup documentation per request.
Provide support and partnership on various HCP reporting activities.
May be tasked with special projects and/or other data requests.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree ideally in a related field (e.g., Finance, Internal Audit, Compliance).
A minimum of three years of related experience (e.g., Finance, Internal Audit, Compliance).
Familiarity or willingness to learn relevant technology, databases, and processes such as Concur, JDE, HCP database and other associated systems, including transparency reporting software.
Ability to work with large data and perform various data extracts and data analytics in Excel as necessary (pivot tables, VLOOKUP functionality, duplicates review).
Ability to understand data attributes and data relationships in multiple systems.
Ability to exercise critical thinking skills and sound judgment to determine when issues may or may not need to be escalated.
Ability to manage competing priorities in an exciting and fast-paced environment.
Excellent organization and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills to work effectively with the team.
Demonstrated attention to detail, thoroughness, and flexibility
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with aggregate spend solutions, financial systems and/or master data management.
Relevant industry experience (e.g., medical device, pharmaceuticals, etc.) or in other highly regulated industry.
