Job Title: Data Analyst II

Description:
  • This role is accountable for assembling maintenance information, charting and reporting to support the oversight and governance of Work Management for Gas Transmission Midstream (GTM) business. In addition, this role works closely with the GTM Work Management teams, Enterprise Work Management Group and Field Operations to produce trusted data, analytics and valued reports to meet our customer’s needs.
 
Accountabilities:
  • Accountable to work with team and key stakeholders to develop, maintain and continuously improve work management process documentation, statistical analysis and reporting processes that will allow the reporting and interpretation of work management data from within the ERP systems
  • Accountable for Work Management, analysis, coordinate, develop and complete data analysis for the compilation of reports and scorecards for presentation to Leaders to make informed decisions. Identify trends in Work Management processes & execution that require further investigation to enable continuous improvement
  • Lead collaboration between the Operational Region/Area Planners and Schedulers, key Stakeholder Programs and the GTM Work Management team to ensure information and data is developed and maintained consistently within the maintenance management tool
  • Ensure implementation of consistent, effective methodology and use of data to support the continuous improvement and monitoring of Work Management practices & work flows through the work order lifecycle of identification, planning, schedule, work execution and close.
  • Accountable of the development, tracking and reporting regulatory compliance and KPI’s defined to support efficient maintenance practices that effectively administer optimal asset performance through the “right maintenance at the right time”
  • Ensure critical systems preventative maintenance (PMs) performance meets criteria as defined
  • Support the teamwork and commitment that enables a dispersed team to work effectively as a high performing team
  • Responsible for ensuring client priorities set are delivered and met appropriately by the activities
  • Participate in planning and achieving annual departmental or project goals and objectives within area of responsibility
 
Scope/Dimensions:
  • The incumbent will be required to manage their time and work independently on assignments to provide a broad range of complex coordination and services to support the oversight and governance of Work Management for Gas Transmission Midstream (GTM) business.
 
Required:
  • Related university degree an six plus years’ experience OR eight plus years of previous field experience OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience,
  • Related experience in data and reporting analytics pertaining to Pipeline, Gas Processing, Petro-Chemical or Pipeline industry, applicable to the operations, maintenance, or management of plant and pipeline transmission facilities
  • Understanding of Oil & Gas or Utilities operational business requirements and the associated processes
  • Experience with applications such as Maximo, Oracle, GIS, Power BI, Document Management Systems (Filenet/SharePoint).
  • Working knowledge of the business processes within SAP, Maximo or like Maintenance Management systems specifically in the area of WM Governance, Planning and Scheduling, including purchasing materials and services on work orders.
  • Understanding and knowledge of reporting through Power Bi or similar reporting tools.
  • Ability to create & establish automated data reports/analysis & charting through excel or other data field captures.
  • Working knowledge of large data bases architecture and models.
  • Knowledge of field operations and technology concepts coupled with strong business and planning skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to end-users and at all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment
 
Preferred:
  • Diploma or technical certificate in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) certification preferred or consider working towards.
  • Operational and or Maintenance experience would be considered an asset.
  • Understanding and knowledge of Work Management principles pertaining to planning and scheduling.
  • Maximo (EAM) or equivalent experience
