Works under very close supervision, monitored task by task. Work is mechanical, recurrent, routine or repetitive in nature. Maintains a safe and clean work area. Handles both high and low pressure gas cylinders and cylinder equipment within a facility andor prepares cylinders for shipment. Loads and unloads gas cylinders andor products onto and off route trucks and trailers. Handletransfer cylinders to and from ground storage Assist production personnel in removing full cylinders from fill area. Sorts empty cylinders by type and places in empty inventory in readiness for filling. Performs cylinder maintenance such as painting, labeling and cleaning. Inspect all cylinders for general condition and report all issues to management. Checks for cylinder quantities, styles and product and assist with inventory tracking. Report all cylinder shortages to management. Reviews customer orders and pulls items from inventory may assist with accompanying paperwork for shipment. High School Diploma or GED Minimum 1 year experience in a warehouse or factory setting Must have the ability to perform basic math functions Ability to read and comprehend MSDS, FDA, DOT, OHSA and other company documents Must possess excellent customer service skills, verbal and written communication skills, and computer knowledge Must be a selfstarter, highly motivated, energetic, and enjoy working as part of a team. Ability to perform very heavy work routinely lift 25 to 75 lbs., occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100lbs. Will not list over 45lbs unassisted. Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling and repetitive motion required. Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and background. Warehouse work area is not air conditioned or heated.
