Job Title: Credit Specialist Duration: 4 Months Location: Eagan, MN 55121 (Hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days work from home) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 to 5:00PM.
Job Description: Company is seeking a Credit Specialist to provide service and support to corporate and non-corporate account customers for various divisions with regard to order review, customer inquiries, promises to pay and other credit-related disputes.
Duties: Performs review of order release in correspondence with divisional order review guidelines. Determines order holds based on aging thresholds and requirements. Process focused and detailed oriented. Follow strict desktop procedures for clear and concise resolution.

What You Will Do:
Respond to incoming emails to divisional credit support regarding escalated order review
Accurately communicate the division specific guidelines to internal stakeholders.
Effectively work order block credit queue.
Meet strict SLA timelines
Determine order hold status based on divisional guidelines
Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate in a professional manner
Research past due balance on accounts for determining order resolution.
Provide accurate information as needed by sales and credit
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
2 years of experience working in credit, finance, accounting, customer service, and/or related technical or customer service field
No immigration sponsorship available
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a finance, accounting, business or a related field
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Access, or the ability to be trained
Credit/collections experience and/or customer service experience related to large corporate customers
Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Access)
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Effective oral and written communication skills
Must have demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently
Self-motivated and both detail and process oriented
Proven analytical and problem solving skills
Strong critical thinking and decision making skills
