Job Description:
Translates and/or transcreates language for marketing materials, member guides, member letters, automated message scripts and educational materials from English into Spanish. Interacts enterprise-wide to provide necessary translations.
Proofreads translated materials to verify that they are accurate and adhere to our quality standards.
Ensures consistent language and cultural sensitivity across all materials produced in Spanish.
Adheres to timelines to ensure completion of projects by given deadlines.
Identifies, analyzes and understands target audiences and their specific program or project needs to develop effective solutions for those audiences.
Manages vendor relationships on behalf of the company as assigned.
Analyzes and improves customer satisfaction through external and internal feedback
Hiring Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Spanish, Communications, Health Care Management, Linguistics.
Minimum of 2 years experience in English to Spanish translation
Fluency in both Spanish and English
Superior writing skills in Spanish (must complete an assessment) and excellent writing skills in English
Hiring Preferences
Working knowledge of idiomatic language differences among Spanish-speaking countries and ability to write for a general audience
Comprehensive understanding of health care and health insurance terminology
Strong computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
