Job Description

Job Title: Manufacturing Test Support Technician Robotics Workcell Assembly ValidationLocation: BOS27 Westborough, MAWe are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Test Technician to join our Amazon Robotics team. This key role is at our BOS27 Westborough, MA facility focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing test equipment for cuttingedge robotics workcell subassemblies. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of electromechanical systems, exceptional problemsolving abilities, and thrive in a fastpaced production environment.Key Responsibilities: Promote a safetyfirst culture and lead by example within our fastpaced manufacturing environment. Execute routine and specialized tests to ensure product quality and performance standards. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in electromechanical subassemblies, utilizing endofline test equipment. Utilize diagnostic tools vendor software, multimeters, oscilloscopes for troubleshooting controls components. Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing test systems automated test solutions developed by internal manufacturing test engineering team Demonstrate proficiency in PLC systems e.g. Allen BradleyRockwell, Siemens, including troubleshooting ladder logic. Maintain accurate test records and collaborate with engineers on solutions and test coverage improvements. Participate in the calibration and maintenance of test equipment.Basic Qualifications: Associate degree in electronics, electrical engineering technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a test technician in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical systems. Experience working with robotics or automation systems is a strong plus. Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Flexibility to work the second shift. Proven ability to communicate effectively, written and verbally with peers, management, contractors and vendors. Knowledge of safe working practices around moving and electrical equipmentPreferred Qualifications 5 years experience in test equipment installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance in a manufacturing setting. Formal trade qualification or current electrical contractor license Experience in Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC control level issue diagnosis using ladder logic and Control View HMI. Robotic programming experience Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, etc. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles 5S, Kaizen, etc. Experience with data collection tools and Quality Control systems.
