Job Title: Contracts and VM Analyst Sr Duration: 6 months (Possible contract to hire) Location: 100% remote Schedule: 8:30-5:00(1 hr lunch), M-F OT: Potential for 5 hours weekly
Position Summary: Project Harmony (HR Transformation)- The contractor will be working with appropriate stakeholders to assist with HR Transformation vendor integrations that require contracts and statements of work. The Contract and Vendor Management Analyst Senior is responsible for creating and reviewing contract terms and conditions with Contract Negotiators and customers, typically less than $500,000 in the Company's spend on goods and services. Ensures that all negotiated deals are properly managed through contract execution. Collaborates with others to drive vendor performance and determine what capabilities and product offerings meet the needs of the business.
Educations/Experience
Bachelor's Degree in a business or related discipline (e.g., Business Management) and a minimum of four years of experience in business, sourcing and/or developing and maintaining vendor relationships.
In lieu of a degree, a minimum of six years related work experience in business, sourcing and/or developing and maintaining vendor relationships may be accepted.

Job Responsibilities:
The contractor will be working with appropriate stakeholders to assist with HR Transformation vendor integrations that require contracts and statements of work.
The contractor will work with negotiators on the team and will assist them with multiple tasks, as well as their own deals (they'll be shown what to do)
The contractor will be leveraging Excel to conduct pricing analysis, net present value of deals and other financial measures
Contractor will need to perform contract submission, routing, approval, and purchase order execution in COUPA (source-to-pay tool)
Additional notes: The manager made mention that we need to be upfront with the candidate and to let them know that there is busy work with this role and it's all important to the process and it all needs to happen in the same time. They'll be working in systems: risk, security and legal. There will also be a lot of meetings and they'll need to find time to attend them

PMs could become negotiators without even knowing it, but they would need experience as a negotiator and understand contract language, amending and updating, procurement experience is necessary.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, business and platforms).
Manages and monitors vendor performance per contract agreements.
Develops SLAs and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for inclusion in contract negotiations. Drives continuous improvement in vendor performance against appropriate SLAs and KPIs.
Facilitates meetings between vendors and Company stakeholders (e.g., gathering requirements, identifying solutions, vendor performance).
Functions as the point of contact for contract and vendor service issues from business partners and assigned vendors.
Administers the vendor feedback process, which includes collecting, integrating, analyzing and communicating information. Makes suggestions for process improvements.
Coaches and provides on the job training to others on a variety of vendor management topics.
Works with appropriate stakeholders to prepare Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs) for new vendor technologies and assists with vendor selection.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
Typical office environment requiring the use of typical office equipment e.g., computers, phones, etc.
Computer keyboarding, computer monitor and mouse use including reaching forward, grasping, finger and wrist manipulation, and neck bending and turning near vision is necessary for computer monitor use.
If working in an Emerging Workspace, or similar working arrangement, lifting of laptop equipment, files and or personal belongings weighing 10 lbs. or less is required.
May require long periods of sitting.
