Job Title: Construction Project Manager V Duration: 7+ Months (Possibility of extension) Location: Aiken, SC
Overview The Client is seeking a Temporary Construction Project Manager to support delivery of data center construction projects in Aiken, South Carolina. In this role, you will manage project scope, schedule, and execution coordination across multiple stakeholders to help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with applicable codes and standards. This is a temporary position and is not a full-time role. Remote work options may be available for portions of the work, depending on project needs.
Responsibilities - Coordinate construction project execution across internal teams and external vendors to support on-time, high-quality delivery. - Track schedule milestones, risks, and dependencies using Primavera P6 and other project controls tools. - Support planning and implementation of LEAN construction practices to improve predictability and reduce waste. - Review and interpret construction documents and drawings; support document management and field coordination using tools such as ACC, Procore, and Bluebeam. - Help ensure project activities align with industry standards, building codes, and safety standards, including fire protection regulations. - Participate in regular project reporting, status reviews, and issue resolution, escalating risks as needed. - Support coordination of site logistics, change management, and closeout activities (e.g., punch lists, turnover documentation) as applicable.
Minimum Requirements - 12+ Years of experience in Construction Project Management, preferably in Data Center or Mission Critical Projects - Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating construction projects in an active build environment. - Working knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and safety standards, including fire protection regulations. - LEAN construction knowledge and ability to apply continuous improvement concepts in project delivery. - Proficiency or working familiarity with the following tools: - Primavera P6 (schedule development and tracking) - Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) - Procore - Bluebeam - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple parties in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to comply with all applicable site safety requirements and access protocols.
