Job Title: Construction Project Manager I Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for Extension) Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite)
Job Description: The Tryer Center is a 20,000 square-foot innovation facility at the client’s Support Center, dedicated to fueling faster and deeper innovation. Tryer Operations team members apply tools and techniques to assist with cross-functional planning and collaboration, leading the execution of multiple projects to deliver high-quality, efficient testing and experiments.
Ideal team members thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and can influence across functions and levels within a matrixed organization. As a Facilities Contractor Worker (CW), you will:
Support testing and innovation by building and maintaining testing environments for various business units.
Collaborate with partners, customers, and stakeholders to uphold and improve the operational systems of the Tryer Lab.

Daily stand-ups and weekly 1x1s with team members
Key Projects & Responsibilities:
Build full-scale mock stores in the lab and assist in real-world buildouts.
Maintain lab inventory and equipment upkeep to support new tests and builds.
Revamp existing stores and manage new ideas and innovation from the CEO.
Focus on implementing hardware and facilities solutions in a functional manner.
Troubleshoot equipment and technology challenges and escalate issues to support teams as needed.
Manage projects aligned with the Tryer Operations strategy to support continuous improvement efforts.
Oversee key operational systems such as inventory management and equipment schedules.
Make time-sensitive decisions to manage break-fix issues and ensure smooth testing.
Technology Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Candidate Requirements:
Years of Experience: 3+ years managing mid-sized or multiple small projects
Hands-On Experience: Comfortable working with power tools (e.g., drills, drivers, saws) – 10% of the role
Facilities Knowledge: Intermediate understanding of facilities management and equipment maintenance processes
Preferred Background and Skills:
Clear and concise communication skills (oral and written)
Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple complex workstreams
Knowledge of retail store operations, processes, and procedures
Ability to establish cross-functional working relationships effectively
Background in equipment management
Understanding of the innovation process or knowledge of client's building strategy
Disqualifiers:
Candidates uncomfortable with power tools (low-level work but essential)
Overqualified candidates with too much construction experience
