Job Description

Job Title: Computer Consultant Specialist
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90032 - hybrid position, at least 2 days in office

Duration: 6 months with Possibly hired as permanent if qualified.
Work hours: TBD-possibly 7:00-300pm
Dress code: Business Casual

Job Description Responsibilities:
• Install and configure software and hardware.
• Manage network servers and technology tools.
• Set up accounts and workstations.
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues and outages.
• Ensure security through access controls and backups.
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models
• Resolve client and personnel IT queries remotely via email and phone, or at the office.
• Prioritize and resolve IT concerns and escalating serious issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Making recommendations to optimize IT performance and to prevent future problems.
• Build an internal technical documentation, manuals, IT policies and end-user guidance.

Requirements and skills:
• At least three years of experience as a System Administrator and End-User Support
• Experience with networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
• Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and platforms
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
• BSc/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus
• Proficient in customer relationship management (CRM) and task management software.
