Job Title: Clinical Informatics Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6+ Months, possibility of extension Job Description The Clinical Informatics Specialist will support EHR?based initiatives focused on improving workflows and technology solutions for Medicaid and uninsured patient populations. This role partners with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to conduct discovery, document workflows, and inform system design and optimization efforts Key Responsibilities
Conduct discovery and document clinical and operational workflows
Partner with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements
Support EHR initiatives across ambulatory and acute care settings
Translate business and clinical needs into functional requirements and recommendations
Support implementation activities including validation, testing, and workflow alignment
Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders
Provide light project and program management support as needed
Required Skills and Experience
3–5 years of experience in clinical informatics, healthcare IT, or healthcare project/program management
Experience supporting EHR initiatives (ambulatory and/or acute)
Experience working in a provider healthcare environment
Strong workflow analysis and documentation skills
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work independently and contribute quickly in a fast?paced environment
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience supporting Medicaid and Medicare programs
Experience with workflow optimization or care management initiatives
Experience collaborating across clinical, operational, and technical teams
Education
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, informatics, information systems, business, or related field, or equivalent experience
Additional Information
Candidate must be comfortable with occasional onsite travel if requested
