Job Description

Position Title: Clinical Chart Abstractor 
Duration: 5 months
Shift timings: M-F 8-5 CST
Position Type: Remote 

Each successfully hired candidate will receive training and on-boarding.
The candidate must be an Oncology Registered Nurse


Key Responsibilities:
  • Chart abstraction
  • -Accurately and efficiently conduct medical record review/abstraction services.
  • -Accurately abstract information from the electronic medical record into the electronic data capture tool.
  • Complete quality, accuracy and inter-rate reliability testing as requested in a timely manner.
  • Abide by all HIPAA and associated patient confidentiality requirements.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
Education/Training:
Oncology RN

Related Experience
  • Must be proficient in navigating through EHR databases.
  • Clinical experience, pharmaceutical experience prefer, experience in performing chart abstractions in an oncology setting, academic or research experience helpful. Previous data analysis experience is a plus.

The ideal candidate will possess medical credentials and have prior experience with chart abstractions and have worked in an oncology setting.

  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent computer skills including: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook
  • Must have high speed internet access.
  • This is a contract position only.

Working Conditions:
  • 40 hours a week
  • This position will be working from a home office.
