Position: Clinical Chart Abstractor Duration: 6 Months Location: The Woodlands, TX Schedule: M-F 8-5 CST /business hours REMOTE Must have: Oncology RN experience and chart abstraction experience
Our corporation seeks to identify a Clinical Nurse Consultant who can dedicate 40 hours per week to our growing team of Medical Chart Abstractors. The ideal candidate will possess medical credentials have prior experience with chart abstractions and have worked in an oncology setting.
Each successfully hired candidate will receive training and onboarding.
Key Responsibilities: Clinical Chart Abstraction: Accurately and efficiently conduct electronic medical record abstraction services Accurately abstract information from the electronic medical record into the electronic data capture tool Complete quality, and accuracy as requested promptly Abide by HIPAA and associated patient confidentiality requirements. Oncology RN
Related Experience
Must be proficient in navigating through EHR databases.
Clinical experience/pharmaceutical experience; prefer experience in performing chart abstractions in an oncology setting, academic or research experience helpful.
Previous data analysis experience is a plus.
Specialized Knowledge/Skills
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Detail oriented.
Team work oriented.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Excellent computer skills including: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook
Must have high speed internet access.
This is a contract position only.
